BIOGRAPHY
He arrived at Thekchen Lekshey Ling Monastery, Kathmandu in 1999.
He became a monk and began his studies of basic Buddhist philosophy, also he received many direct teachings from H.E Karma Thinlay Rinpoche
during his stay in Thegchen Lekshey Ling Monastery.
In 2001, he was admitted into Sakya College in India, (an institute of higher Buddhist studies). His main teacher during the courses was the Venerable Khenchen Sonam Gyatso, who is the most respected scholar of Sakya Tradition of Tibetan Buddhism in India.
Also, he was very fortunate to receive many teachings related to both Tantra and Sutra from great Sakyapa scholars such as the late Kenchen Appey Rinpoche and late Khenchen Kunga Wangchuk. He also got the chance to receive teachings of Tibetan grammar and literature from prominent scholars suchas Rakra Rinpoche and Dhongtog Tulku.
During his stay in college, he excelled in many academic fields and as the result of completing his studies at the institute, he received degree (B.A) degree in Buddhist philosophy during the 7th convocation ceremony held in Lumbini, presided by His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trinzin, and H.H Sakya Dagchen in 2009.
Apart from his excellence in academic field, he had also served as treasury of 6th students’ welfare committee of Sakya College and served as the main treasury of Sakya College for one more year.
He was appointed as hostel manager for one year and he was also a member of the environmental protection committee for several years during his studies at Sakya College. During his stay in Sakya College, Khenpo Tashi received numerous precious oral transmissions and initiations including the great Lamdre (Path and Fruit) from many great masters such as H.H 41st Sakya Trizin. Also, he was able to receive many initiations and teachings from H.H the 14th Dalai Lama including Kalachakra Initiation.

Also, he studied the English language in Malaysia and visited many countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam. During his visits to those countries, he has been giving teachings and doing prayers for Buddhist disciples on behalf of Thegchen Lekshey Ling Monastery as he is the main treasury of Thegchen Legshey Ling Monastery. Moreover, as a recognition of his contributions to society through his teachings, Khenpo Tashi Received Khenpo Title (scholar title) from the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil
Aviation of Nepal Government in 2019. Currently, he is travelling around South East Asia to giving Darma teachings to everyone which will be applied in daily life to have a peaceful life, liberation and enlighment.
